As part of the ongoing development of our Group, we are looking to fill a variety of roles.
Assistant Beaver, Cub and Scout Leaders
Assistant Leaders work closely with the Section Leader to help plan and run the weekly meetings. No previous experience or specific skills are required and full training, most of which is available online, is provided.
Sectional Assistants offer support to the Section Leader and Assistant Section Leaders to help deliver the activities that take place during the weekly meetings. No previous experience or specific skills are required and training, in the form of a single online-based training course, is provided. Uniform is optional and this role offers a way of becoming involved in the Group without having to commit to attending every weekly meeting.
Media and Communications Coordinator
Now that our Group is well established, we would really like to raise our profile within our community, so we are looking for someone who can help produce content for various local publications, our web site and our private Facebook page. This person would work with Section Leaders and Executive Committee Members to collect content and then present it in an attractive and compelling format.
Fundraising Team Members
Delivering an exciting and varied programme of activities to all our young people requires equipment and funds. We would like to establish fundraising team of creative and persuasive people to devise and plan a variety of fundraising opportunities to help us raise the money we need to continue to grow as a Scout Group.
